1. Who we are
Varigro LLC ("Varigro," "we," "us") operates varigro.com. Contact: contact@varigro.com.
2. What we collect
- Account data: farm name, email, password (stored by our auth provider), and session cookies.
- Farm operations data: field names, GPS boundaries, crops, soil tests, fertilizer prices, equipment defaults, management zones, season plans, and prescription maps.
- Marketing data: contact-form messages and newsletter emails if you submit them.
- Technical data: logs and optional API usage events used to operate and secure the service.
3. How we use it
We use this information to create your account, run prescriptions, export application files, show savings estimates, send messages you requested, operate an internal ops dashboard, and keep the service secure. We do not sell farm locations, soil tests, or personal information.
4. Processors
We use vendors to run the product, including:
- Supabase (authentication and database)
- Google Cloud / Google Earth Engine (satellite and soils sampling for maps)
- Resend (transactional and newsletter email)
- Railway (our hosting provider)
Those vendors process data under their own terms, on our instructions, to provide their services.
5. Cookies
We use HttpOnly session cookies for login, plus a UI-mode cookie so phones can open the read-only HQ. We do not use advertising cookies on the grower app.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep account and field data while your account is active and as needed to operate the service and meet legal duties. Email contact@varigro.com to request deletion of your account and associated field files. We will delete or anonymize what we no longer need, except where we must retain records (for example, security logs or legal holds).
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted transport, hashed passwords via our auth provider, and row-level access so growers see their own farms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If we become aware of a breach that requires notice under applicable law, we will notify you as required.
8. Your choices
You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in those messages. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by emailing contact@varigro.com. If you are a California resident, you may also have rights to know, delete, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information as those terms are commonly used. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
9. Children
The service is for farm businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The version identifier and date at the top will change. Material changes that require a new clickwrap will be presented in the product.
