Precision planning for growers and advisers

Variable-rate plans that match every acre

Varigro turns your boundaries, goals, and agronomic inputs into defensible, export-ready fertilizer and seed prescriptions — so every pass reflects how the field actually varies, not what a flat rate guesses.

How it works

From boundary to prescription in three steps

Varigro is built so a grower or adviser can run the full workflow without GIS training. You stay in control of every input, and you review the map before anything goes to the cab.

  1. Add your fields

Upload a boundary shapefile or draw the field on the map. Organize fields by farm and track acres from day one.

  2. Set your goals

Choose the crop, target yield, and product grades, and enter your soil-test values. Adjust the min and max rate rails until the plan fits how you farm.

  3. Review and export

Inspect the cell-level map, compare estimated costs against a flat-rate benchmark, then download the shapefile ZIP or schedule the pass in Season Plan.

Maps and a dashboard built around your acres

A real prescription grid tied to your boundary, and the operation view you land on after sign-in: fields, totals, and estimated savings at a glance.

Cell-by-cell rates on real ground

Every square lines up with your boundary and your agronomy. Tiered colors show where field variability and your goals push product up or down, so what you ship to the cab matches the ground — and you can explain why any rate changed, zone by zone.

My Fields

Your operation at a glance

Track acreage, prescriptions run this season, and estimated savings versus a flat-rate benchmark across every enrolled field — before you drill into exports, Season Plan, or the map itself.

My Fields · sample data
Total fields 14
Total acres 3,240
Prescriptions run 22
Est. savings $24,180 vs flat-rate benchmark
North Quarter Corn · 152 acres
Creek Bottom Soybeans · 96 acres
Home Section Wheat · 210 acres

What you can do

One place to plan the whole season

Everything from the first boundary to the file in the cab, with inputs you can see and controls you can defend.

Exports

From approved plan to the applicator

Every prescription downloads as a standard shapefile ZIP — the format common applicator displays and GIS tools already expect. Nothing to convert, no translation service in the middle.

Common questions

What growers and advisers ask first

What do I need to get started?

A field boundary — upload a shapefile or draw it on the map — plus your crop, target yield, and field-average soil-test values for fertilizer plans. No yield monitor, hardware, or GIS software required.

How does Varigro decide the rates?

Varigro combines mapped field context — terrain, weather, and crop-history signals — with your soil tests, your goals, and published university agronomic guidance to estimate productivity across the field. Rates are assigned cell by cell within the min and max rails you set, and you review and adjust the full map before anything is exported.

What equipment does it work with?

Prescriptions export as standard shapefile ZIPs that common applicator displays and GIS tools can load. Raven Slingshot wireless upload is directly supported, and USB import works for other displays.

How long does a prescription take?

The first run on a new field takes a few minutes while Varigro prepares the field context. After that, prescriptions are ready to review shortly after you set your goals.

How is Varigro priced?

You can start free and set up your first fields right away. Grower and Enterprise plans are priced to your acres and operation — talk to our team for a quote, or see pricing for an overview.
